Technical Specification:
1. Pump set: 0.5 HP, 1Ph, Monoblock.
2. Sump tank: 1200 x 300 x 400 mm (144 Lit).
3. Material: S.S. 304 grade with synthetic rubber paint interior and powder coated exterior.
4. MS frame: 1600mm x 400 x 1100mm (0.704m3), powder coated.
5. Collecting tank: 200 x 200 x 300 mm (12 Lit).
6. Supply tank: 300x300x600 mm (54 Lit).
7. Pipe: 2” dia, 4mm thick and 800 to 1000 mm long clear Glass tube.
8. Dye Container: An SS vessel containing potassium permanganate solution for flow visibility with a small needle and control valve.
9. Piezometer: A graduated glass tube (graduation in cm).
10. Experimental Capability: Actual Discharge, Reynolds’s Number for Laminar and Turbulent.
11. The whole set up will be mounted on a powder coated base plate with sturdy table.
