Centifugal Blower Setup

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:
• 3HP Centrifugal Blower with 3 Impellers (forward, backward and radial),
• 3 meters of pipe line of size 150mm dia with venturi-meter & Pitot tube to find out the air
flow, a butterfly valve to control the air flow rate.
• The whole system is a single unit, consists of a metallic, powder coated control panel (off
white in colour) with MS square tube table (Pepsi blue in colour), which gives aesthetic
finish. The apparatus provided with digital instrumentation to get accurate readouts and
results.
• Speed: A non-contact type proximity sensor with digital indicator (0-9999 rpm)
• Digital Anemometer to find out velocity.
• A U-tube manometer of length 300 with mercury or water is provided to measure the
manometer difference at venturi as well as pitot tube.
• A 3-Phase energy meter is provided to find out the power consumed by the motor.
• Glass tube manometers will be provided to measure the pressure drop across the Venturi
meter & pitot tube.
