Geneve Drive is a manually operated working model designed for Theory of Machines and Kinematics Laboratory applications. It consists of a Geneva wheel, driving disc, crank/handle and locking arrangement mounted on a rigid metal base panel. The mechanism demonstrates the conversion of continuous rotary motion into intermittent rotary motion, including indexing and dwell periods. The model is constructed from metal components with a painted/powder-coated finish and requires no external power supply. It is suitable for demonstrating Geneva mechanism operation, indexing, angular displacement, driver-driven wheel relationship and intermittent motion in engineering colleges, polytechnics, ITIs and technical training laboratories.
